Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are legally binding and shall apply to all reservations made with Xceed Holdings cc trading as The Post House, which name shall include the property, owners, management, staff and contractors to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

General

All rates quoted are guaranteed for confirmed reservations and provisional reservations only.

All rates on the Rate Sheets include VAT, are quoted in South African Rand and subject to changes.

Transaction fees on foreign currency payments – Client is responsible for all foreign transfer fees, from the originating country and from South Africa. 

Booking Procedure

  • Reservations must be made in writing via e-mail reservations@theposthouse.co.za or our online booking calendar on www.theposthouse.co.za
  • Provisional reservations will be held for a limited time, pending a deposit.
  • Deposits on reservations confirm the reservations.
  • Confirmed reservations are subject to the cancellation policy outlined below.
  • All cancellations and/or amendments must be made in writing.

Payment Method

All major credit cards are accepted (except Diners Club and American Express). We do not accept cheques.

All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT. Please email proof of payment to reservations@theposthouse.co.za

All “extras” (e.g. food & beverage) incurred during stay must be settled by credit card or cash in South African Rand (ZAR) prior to departure.

Payment Policy – Individual Bookings

A deposit of 50% is required in order to secure your booking. We can only confirm your booking once we have received your deposit proof of payment (POP). The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations are held for 7 days and will automatically expire unless the deposit has been received

Cancellation Policy – Individual Bookings

  • 0 – 13 days prior to arrival forfeit 100% of total stay
  • 14 – 20 days prior to arrival forfeit 75% of total stay
  • 21 – 30 days prior to arrival forfeit 50% of total stay
  • “No Shows” will be charged in full

 Refunds will be at the discretion of The Post House. The Post House reserves the right to cancel and/or amend any reservation in the event of a failure to comply with the deposit and payment policy contained herein and shall not be liable for any loss or consequential loss resulting from such cancellation or amendment.

Child Policy

Children between ages of 0 – 2.99 years, sharing with two full paying adults – No Charge

Children between the ages of 3 – 12 years, sharing with two full paying adults; 50% of the per person sharing rate per night

Children aged 13 years and older; the full published rates apply.

Children occupying their own room; the full published rates apply.

Please note that children sharing a Deluxe room with two adults will be accommodated on a fold out Bloc mattress. These are ideally suited for children under the age of 13 years sharing in a room. Please consider booking the family unit if the above terms do not meet with your requirements.
